About CarShareBooks
CarShareBooks was built to solve a problem that every serious Turo host faces: Turo and QuickBooks don't talk to each other.
Every month, hosts are manually entering payout amounts, splitting out platform fees, tracking cleaning charges, and reconciling bank deposits — all by hand. For a host with one car, it's 30–60 minutes a month. For a fleet operator with 10+ vehicles, it's a part-time job.
Our Mission
Make Turo accounting invisible. Every trip, every payout, every fee — recorded accurately in QuickBooks Online without any manual work from the host.
How It Works
CarShareBooks sits between Turo and QuickBooks. When Turo sends you a payout email, CarShareBooks parses it, extracts every line item, and posts a double-entry journal entry to your QuickBooks Online company — automatically, in real time.
Built for Turo Hosts
We understand the Turo payout structure: gross trip earnings, platform fee deductions, extra mileage charges, cleaning fees, toll reimbursements, and damage claim payouts. Every line item maps to the correct QuickBooks account from day one.
