CarShareBooks ("we", "us", "our") operates the CarShareBooks web application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your email address when you create an account, and Turo trip data from emails you forward to your CarShareBooks inbox address. We also collect QuickBooks® Online OAuth tokens (encrypted) when you connect your QuickBooks Online account.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the CarShareBooks service: parsing Turo emails, generating journal entries, and posting them to your QuickBooks Online account. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Security

QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We retain data for 30 days after account deletion before permanent removal.
